**Event organisers called on to tick noise abatement off planning list**

Signing off your summer event noise mitigation plan might sound strange in mid-winter – but now is the perfect time to tick it off your list.

There have been numerous high-profile cases of UK festivals coming under pressure over noise in recent years, highlighting the need for events of all shapes and sizes to invest in effective noise abatement.
